I seeeeeeee you. :)
*waves to the nice morris dancers*

Hi, new people. Thanks for visiting. Have fun at Neffa? Feel free to leave a comment telling me who you are, what you dance, whether we've met in real life, etc. I'm a curious girl.

Maybe I should do a morris post in honor of the new link...but considering I missed rapper practice this week and the last show I danced in was the end of March, I might have to dredge up an old story instead of offering a recent one.

Also, Outside Caperers, I was tickled to see my remark on your testimonial page. If I had known I was going to be quoted, I would have been more effusive. But as long as I'm here (there?) I would like to mention that that was the first time I used the kicks-my-vestigial-coccyx phrase in writing. (If I remember correctly, I made it up just for you guys. You're that cool.)

According to Google, it's the only time anyone has used the phrase on a website, ever. But what does Google know.

Oh. Right, yes. I saw your weblog being alluded to on the Outside Capering Crew's website, decided to search for it, found it, liked it and linked it. Hope that was OK.

I'm convinced we've never met, because I'm in South Wales, three-and-a-bit hours west of London, one hour west of Cardiff. That would kind-of make Neffa a bit of a commute.

I started going to morris practice a year ago today, but very inconsiderately, the side actually wanted to do some dancing once May Day passed. Mostly, I played fiddle from the sidelines. I enjoyed it.

Our side is a male side, that mostly dances Cotswold: Adderbury, Bampton, Headington, Stanton Harcourt and the rest. I can just about dance the first and the last of those traditions, sometimes. We turn into a Border side when we also do mumming around Christmas.

I think that's probably enough for now. Though do let us know how TMBG are when you see them.
